Husky safari either on wheel cart or sled

Huskies are not born fit, it takes lots of preparation and conditioning before the dogs are as fit as they can be. Visit the kennel and get a feel for how the dogs are prepared to be the amazing athletes they are. Our enthusiastic dogs will happily take you down the forest trail for an unforgettable experience.

If snow comes early in November, our tours will be done with sleds instead of the carts with wheels.


Included: Transfers from/to selected locations in Rovaniemi, safety- and driving instructions, 4 km drive with a husky cart or 45 minutes with a sled, hot juice, cookies, snack, arctic outer clothing and informative talk about huskies.

Excluded: Transfers from/to Arctic SnowHotel, Apukka Resort, Vaattunki Wildnerness Resort at an extra 12,- € / person / direction. Please select the additional product if you require transfers from/to any of the mentioned locations.

        RATES

        Please note that this is a tour for adults (17+ years old) and teenagers (12-16 years old) only. 

        Rates are stated per person. One cart/sled is shared by 2 persons in half way there will be a chance to switch drivers. By choosing the single driving pricing category you reserve one cart/sled per one adult.

        Our minimum age for driving a cart or sled is 17 years. We do not allow participants under the age of 17 to drive themselves.


        TRANSFERS

        If you need a transfer to the activity, please choose the pickup location when making the booking.


        PLEASE NOTE

        For animal welfare reasons this tour is offered only weather permitting, 10 degrees Celsius or colder, otherwise it’s too hot for the huskies to pull.
